<NO LONGER APPLICABLE/RELEVANT>

Monday, July 20, 2020

Dear Members,

Your club has also been in active dialogue with Banyule and Tennis Victoria over the past week to understand their take on the restrictions.  On Thursday, 16 July 2020, the committee met via web conference and decided to open the courts under strict supervision by a committee member.

This is because of the Andrew’s government’s $100,000 fine for body corporate’s who allow a breach of the restrictions.

There will be a requirement to use book a court, and, complete a registration process for each player either via a Web form (preferred as it is contactless) or via a register book in the clubroom prior to play.

Any members who choose not to follow the Government’s restrictions will not be welcome in our club, as they risk its very existence & the importance of exercise at this difficult time.

The restrictions, at time of writing, are:

• Singles Play or Families who share the same residential address, only.

• Do not change ends during play

• Register attendance via QR code or in the register book

• No more than 10 people in the facility at any one time.

• No socialising and social distancing must be maintained.

Please use book a court to secure availability. We can not have people dropping by on the off chance because they may prevent people from entering the facility who have booked a court. Please also check the weather, Winter can be often inclement as the recent weekends have shown themselves to be.
